Rhythm Tech 12.5″ Tumba

We recently upgraded the flesh hoop and skin on this Rhythm Tech 12.5″ tumba for a customer in NC. Manito fabricated the flesh hoop from 1/4″ round 304 stainless steel. I mounted 2.2mm chocolate steer, as well as cleaned and lubricated the tuning lugs. This is the first time I’ve worked on a Rhythm Tech conga. The bottom ring is plastic, but the side plates are in the correct orientation.

Variety Of Bongos

I really enjoy working on a wide variety of bongos that customers either drop off or ship to us. Manito recently fabricated new 304 stainless steel flesh hoops for these LP Aspire bongos. I mounted high quality steer skins– .9mm thick on the 6-3/4″ macho, 1.5mm on the 8″ hembra. Get in touch if you are looking to upgrade your drums. DM, info@manitopercussion, 706-614-4563

JCR Tambora

We recently had the honor of working on this JCR tambora. Manito repaired some serious damage to the bearing edges, fabricated new crowns, and polished new tuning lugs. I mounted 1.4mm steer on both sides. We left one side rather proud to accommodate the stick, and avoid any further damage to the bearing edge.

LP Classics

We recently upgraded the flesh hoops and skins on these LP Classics. I mounted amber Middle Eastern Steer- 1.8mm thick on the 11″ quinto, 2mm thick on the 11.75″ conga.
