Cow With Hair is an excellent skin choice for djembes, bombas, and any larger drum where a high quality thin skin is required.
Cow skins with hair are consistently 1mm thick, 24″ diameter and cut from the spine. They are a bit tougher and more dense than calf skin. The sound is bright and resonant with crisp slaps, round open tones, fuller high end and very rich bass.
