Description
Our Premium PreMounted™ Conga Heads feature natural skins mounted on 1/4″ round 304 stainless steel flesh hoops. These heads are designed to fit drums with specific shell sizes and crown types right out of the box.
With a variety of skin types, thicknesses, and three color options, our PreMounted™ Heads are fully customizable to suit any application and playing style.
Skin Thickness Recommendations
Skin thickness should be selected based on the size of the drum shell. The larger the shell, the thicker the skin. This ensures a balanced, harmonious sound across your entire set of drums.

How to Measure Drum Size
To measure your drum size, simply measure the diameter of the drumhead across the top (the playing surface) from edge to edge.
Example:
This is an 11″ Quinto. Measure from one side of the head to the other, passing through the center. The size is the total diameter.
Production Times
Production times may vary depending on skin thickness, color, and order volume. For example, the typical required drying time for a 2.2mm skin is approximately one week.

SO worth it! I had terrible ringing overtones from a Pearl Havana Quinto I bought… to the point I was really
considering selling or trading it away at a loss. One quick call and a week later, my Manito 2.2mm Middle East Steer head has this thing sounding like a million bucks. Highly recommended if you want to completely transform the sound of your drum. Fantastic friendly service meets top quality product… bravo!
