Our Moderna Crown Rims are hand fabricated from 5/8″ 304 stainless steel half round bar for added strength and comfort. Each crown is custom made to order to fit any sized drum, and includes a matched stainless steel Flesh Hoop.

I love mounting skins on unique older drums! It affords the opportunity to inspect the build quality, upkeep/maintenance, signs of repairs, and/or the need for repairs. This set of 1978 LP Palisades Park zebra wood bongos is in great shape. It received a 1mm horse skin on the 7-1/4″ macho and 1.4mm steer skin on the 8-5/8″ hembra.
